Midjourney Launches it’s Video Feature
Despite being the OG of my AI adventure, I had actually let my Midjourney subscription lapse a few months ago. With so many great tools available, I just wasn’t using it that much. I’ve watched a few previews on YouTube and the quality looks amazing, but I think I’ll wait another month before jumping back in. It seems like they still have a few issues to work out. Wix Buys Vibe Coding tool Base44 for $80 Million
I’ve never built a site with Wix, but it’s improved in recent years and non-tech people tell me it’s easy to use and has an intuitive interface. Well, it just got a lot easier to use because soon they’ll be able to just describe the site they want. Last week, I said that they ‘Vibe Coding” revolution was a serious threat to tools like Webflow and Framer, and I expect them to make a similar move or acquisition in the near future. Read more
Adobe Finally Launches Firefly Boards
This was originally called “Project Concept”, while it was still in Beta and I’ve watched some very promising demos. If you work with a large, distributed team and you have an Adobe Pro Creative Cloud subscription, you might want to check this out. It’s like Figjam meets Firefly, but you’re not limited to just the Firefly model. Flux Kontext is Amazing
I’ve been using Flux from Black Forest Labs for the last six months and it meets almost all of my AI image needs. Almost all of the major AI image generators now have some sort of conversational editing feature, where you can continue to refine and ‘Art Direct’ your original image. While these all have varying degrees of success, many reviewers agree that Flux Kontext is the best. Read about it.
